University of Alabama at Birmingham

Strategy & Creative Services

For the UAB Minority Health & Health Equity Research Center and Live HealthSmart Alabama, I develop comprehensive communication strategies to elevate the center and grant initiatives. My work spans creating user-friendly websites, crafting compelling content for various platforms, producing visually engaging designs (like infographics, social media assets, and publications), and more. By translating complex concepts into clear, impactful messaging, I help the center connect with audiences, drive engagement, and amplify their mission to create a healthier, more equitable future.

The Community Kitchens

Logo, Website, and Graphic Design

When working with community kitchens, I had the privilege of helping amplify their mission through visual storytelling. From designing a fresh, modern logo to creating a user-friendly website and SEO strategy, I ensured their brand was cohesive, engaging, and true to their mission. Additionally, I developed a fundraising booklet and an eye-catching poster to help share their story and connect with potential donors and the community. This project combined my passion for design and strategy to support an organization making a meaningful difference.

Web Design and Social Media Strategy

In addition to my day-to-day marketing responsibilities (email creation, content development, product photography, etc.) at DMS, one of the larger projects I took on was to give the company a fresh, new online look. To do this, I redesigned their website, which included an SEO keyword strategy, and set brand standards for their social media accounts.

Social Media Strategy and Content

To launch EBSCO's social media presence, I started by spearheading the development of a social media strategy. Since the long-term plan has been put in place, I have been in charge of creating content and publishing/ managing posts via HeyOrca. Quarterly, I pull analytics and statistics (engagement, likes, shares, etc.) to see top performing posts and track progress.

This campaign was developed for an advanced portfolio building class (APR 418). The goal of this print campaign was to communicate the different benefits within a Lonely Planet book. As a secondary objective, I hoped to enlighten people on the different countries available.

I created this work for an advanced portfolio class (APR 418). Throughout the course of this class, I selected a product and was tasked with concepting an idea and implementing its design.

This was the final project created for my portfolio building class (APR 418). For this project each Art Director was partnered with a Copywriter and vice versa. As a group we selected a product and developed a campaign.

Campaign Pitch

This campaign was created for a senior project. We were assigned to groups (agencies) and tasked with concepting and developing an integrated marketing campaign. For this group I served as the Creative Director in charge of designing the campaign booklet and agency logo.

Campaign Pitch

The NASCAR marketing team approached several on-campus advertising and public relations agencies, including Capstone Agency at the University of Alabama, to develop and present a campaign focused on attracting Millennials to watch the Daytona 500. For this project, I developed the campaign budget and assisted in the development of campaign objectives and tactics. Additionally, I coordinated efforts between the client, faculty advisors, and creative team.

This is a collection of work created for Mid America Insurance. The scope of this work includes a variety of copy and designs for postcards in direct mail campaigns, billboard advertisements, informational flyers, and more.
